Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho is elated at the prospect of featuring for his side today when they clash with Egypt Pharaohs in a Group D match to be played in Port Gentil.
Aucho missed the opener against Ghana suspended for accumulating yellow cards during the qualifiers.
"I am glad I am now free to play for my country it was really hard for me to see my country lose to Ghana when I was in the bench".
"I believe we still have so much potential and we should not face Egypt thinking about their huge name but we have to see them as our opponents and give the best and try to win the game" Aucho told supersport.com .
"The team played so well in the first game we were only unlucky but I believe the coach has talked to us and the mistakes will be corrected today against Egypt because we want nothing but a win" Aucho added.
Aucho is one of the key players that played a crucial role in Uganda Cranes qualifiers working in the midfield formation together with Iceland based Tony Mawejje.
Uganda must win today if at all they are to proceed they are bottom of the group with no point.
